News today - Canadian men successfully crossed over to the U.S. with iPad. A Canadian man who realizes that he forgot to carry a passport when traveling to the United States was about to discover a new way of crossing the border with his iPad.
Martin Reisch, the man, said Tuesday a U.S. officer at the border rather annoyed to let him cross into the United States from Quebec thereafter. However, he is free to swing. The trick?
He shows the scanned copies of his passport at the Apple iPad. “I thought I would at least try it,” said Reisch.
Reisch was half an hour from the border when he remembers forgotten to bring his passport. Back to home is obviously not an option, because he had to travel much longer to Montreal, it came from.
He told officers he was headed to the U.S. to distribute Christmas gifts to his children. He said the officer looked a little annoyed when he handed over the iPad.
“He took my iPad into a small shack border … He was there six minutes feels like an eternity,” he said. A few moments later, the officer and he was allowed to enter. But he was still with his face was not friendly.
