Here are some tips on travel and pregnancy:

1. Consult your travel plans with your gynecologist. If the doctor allows traveling, make sure you have travel insurance for any of your condition.

2. If you are traveling by air, there are some special rules that need to be known. Air flight companies allow travel up to 36 weeks gestation, but this is not a fixed rule, especially if you need extra care.

3. Usually, the expectant mothers were allowed to fly if they do not have medical problems such as clots in blood vessels. Find airlines that offer convenient conditions for pregnant women.

4. One important thing to note is the humidity. In the long flight, the air humidity should be increased. Sitting still for too long is not recommended, then you should try for a little walk during the flight.

5. Another issue that should care about is drugs and vaccines. Pregnancy is not the right time to take the vaccine or additional drugs. If a physician is required and possible, vaccine should be used with caution. Do not forget that if you go to another country, climate change can cause several serious illnesses, including flu.

6. Avoid areas prone to malaria. Malaria can cause serious problems for pregnant women because it can lower the immune system.

7. Avoid traveling during the months of the second, third and fourth. “In both” to travel is the fifth and sixth months. The risk of some diseases, infections, vomiting attacks and even increased from the beginning the seventh month until your ninth month of pregnancy.

8. Do not forget to drink more water during travel. Avoid eating some local food and drink that may cause stomach problems because you are not used.
