World’s Smallest Frogs Discovered in Papua New Guinea

Phenomenal frog was found in the tropical forests of Papua New Guinea. The size is not even bigger than a coin. Similarly, AFP reported on Thursday (1/12/2012).

Animals that have a Latin name Paedophryne swiftorum and Paedophryne amauensis, not only known as the smallest frog in the world but is also believed to be the smallest vertebrate animal ever invented by man.

Until now the world’s smallest vertebrate animals believed to be a fish that has a Latin name tranprasan Paedocypris progenetica. The animal was in Indonesia and has a length of eight millimeters.

While most large vertebrates in the world is the blue whale, which reaches 25.8 meters in length.
